How to Record Shows on YouTube TV

One of the best features of YouTube TV is its unlimited cloud DVR, which allows you to record live TV, sports, movies, and series without needing any extra equipment.

Recording a Show or Movie

1. Open the YouTube TV app.
2. Use the Search function (magnifying glass icon) to find the show, movie, team, or event you'd like to record.
3. Select the program.
4. Click the "+" (Add to Library) button.

Once added to your Library, YouTube TV will automatically record:

• Future episodes of TV shows
• Live sporting events
• Movies
• News programs
• Special events

Recording an Entire Series

1. Search for the TV show.
2. Select the show from the results.
3. Click "+" Add to Library.

YouTube TV will automatically record all future episodes and reruns that air on any channel included in your subscription.

Recording Sports Teams

Want to make sure you never miss a game?

1. Search for your favorite team.
2. Select the team.
3. Click "+" Add to Library.

Finding Your Recordings

To view recorded content:

1. Open YouTube TV.
2. Navigate to Library at the top of the screen.
3. Browse your recordings by category, such as:

Removing a Recording

If you no longer want YouTube TV to record a show or team:

1. Find the show, movie, or team.
2. Select it.
3. Click the checkmark icon (previously the "+" button).

This removes it from your Library and stops future recordings.
