How to Switch from Hulu + Live TV to YouTube TV

If you're moving from Hulu + Live TV to YouTube TV, don't worry — the process is simple! Follow the steps below to start watching YouTube TV on your Apple TV.

Step 1: Download the YouTube TV App

1. On your Apple TV home screen, open the App Store.
2. Select the Search icon and type YouTube TV.
3. Download and install the YouTube TV app.

Step 2: Sign In to YouTube TV

1. Open the YouTube TV app.
2. Select Sign In.
3. A code will appear on your TV screen.
4. Using a phone, tablet, or computer, visit tv.youtube.com/start.
5. Sign in with your Google account and enter the code shown on your TV.

Once completed, your YouTube TV channels should appear automatically.

Step 3: Remove Hulu from Your Home Screen

If you no longer plan to use Hulu:

1. Highlight the Hulu app on your Apple TV home screen.
2. Press and hold the center button on the Apple TV remote until the app begins to jiggle.
3. Press the Play/Pause button.
4. Select Delete App.

Note: Deleting the app from Apple TV does not cancel your Hulu subscription.

Step 4: Cancel Your Hulu Subscription

If you're switching completely to YouTube TV and no longer wish to be billed for Hulu:

1. Visit hulu.com on a computer or mobile device.
2. Sign in to your Hulu account.
3. Navigate to Account.
4. Select Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.

Helpful Tips

• YouTube TV includes unlimited cloud DVR storage.
• You can create individual profiles for different household members.
• If you're signed into the wrong Google account, you can switch accounts by opening the YouTube TV app, selecting your profile icon, and choosing Switch Account.
